On the last day before we left the park, we decided to go to the Park’s eastern side, specifically the area of the Many Glacier Hotel and Swiftcurrent Lake. The geography is a little different. Many of the mountains have the same appearance: a long line of worn, but still sharp peaks, with sedimentary layers of different colors. Some, however, were smaller, and were more precipitous. That is, they seemed to jut up abruptly, like the iconic one on Swiftcurrent Lake opposite the Hotel.
