We began our visit to the Park on Apgar beach, at the western end of Lake McDonald. It was relatively uninteresting from a photographic point of view. Soon afterwards we drove to the northwestern side of the lake, and took the Rocky Point Trail down to the lake. (The first images are from that location.) In the afternoon we took one of the most popular and easiest trails, the Trail of the Cedars. Finally, we took a boat trip on Lake McDonald around 5:30. It was cold and a little rainy, but I enjoyed capturing the surrounding mountains (hills?) in the cloud and fog.
