It’s always fun shooting young people in groups smaller than 13, say, and this was no exception. These Orthodox volunteers will be working with neighborhood organizations helping people on the margins of society, and will grow through doing so. (I was once a Salvation Army officer in Canada, and have worked as a parole supervisor and a chaplain in a psychiatric hospital, so I know how valuable this experience can be in developing a heart for people.)
