It has been a busy three weeks or so: shooting a model downtown for my “More Than a Feeling” series, then a wedding, and lastly getting a week’s holiday in Surfside Beach, South Carolina. Whew! The house is going to get cleaned (at least the top floor and the second floor) and a brick chimney in the kitchen will have a glossy sealant applied to it, if all goes according to the plan for the next few days. And I hope to get back into stained glass with a friend soon, too. It’s a creative time of life.
The wedding was exilirating, and great fun. (You can see above one of my experimental shots: “dragging the shutter” as Evan and Eliza dance together for the first time as husband and wife.) Sheldon Parnick, my model and a photographer herself, was my “second-shooter,” and brought her visual talents to the task of capturing the people and events of the day. Good job — thank you, Sheldon!
I’ll be posting a link to my shoot with Lauren Lubarski, my model, separately, and eventually I will get the photos I took in Surfside Beach into Lightroom and see what can be done with them.
Here’s the main event: a link to the first of five webpages of images of the newly wed couple, Eliza and Evan Roussey.
