A few weeks ago we visited Canada — Kingston, Montreal, Ottawa, the French River, Barrie, Burlington, Toronto, London, Windsor — and then came back to the States. We stayed with my brother at his home on the French River (which runs from Lake Nipissing to Georgian Bay). He and his wife took me and my wife on a tour of the French, and I brought my wide-angle lens. The results were very pleasing, though I took too many pictures, as usual. I went through them afterwards, and realized that I wanted to do a “retro” treatment of them, one that reminded me of photos I saw of the same kind of Northern Ontario scene when I was young. Some of the results are available for purchase in the “Fine Art Prints” section of my website. Enjoy!
