Senior Photos

I shot Kyra W a couple of days ago at her alma mater, Duquesne University, and it was truly a joy. I think the images turned out very well, and she was pleased. (About one image I sent her, she said, “Chris, you are a magician! I love that photo!”) I love to shoot, and it shows. Her boyfriend Sean helped out, holding a diffusion screen (a “scrim”) to block the most intense sunlight. In many photos that sunlight lit up Kyra’s hair from behind, and my flash illuminated her face — very pleasing. As usual, I had a hard time picking what I thought were the best. Some of these are the best of a series, in my judgment. Some are straightforward “here-I-am,-world!” senior photos, and some are just fun and quirky (like the one with the hair, at the end). There is another gallery of the remaining photos, as many clients want to see every good capture. Enjoy!
